Down and locked can convert the tail gear to electric. I asked how much more it would weight, and they couldnt give me an answer, but going by a few linear actuators i have linked with the correct strokes, they would add about 2 to 4 ounces at the tail over the pneumatic gear. if my memory is correct, that works out to around a pound of weight on the firewall to even it out...
