I bought a used DA100 a little bit ago with an RC Exl ignition and it starts and runs great.
Someone is telling me that the ignition is not a direct replacement for the DA and the engine
needs to be modified to use RC Exl.

I had a buyer for the engine but he backed out because he said the ignition is not a direct replacement,
and the engine needs to be modified??

Any thoughts on that?

I have RC Exl ignitions on three 30cc engines and they perform great too.
I especially like the ignition timing kit and ignition tester offered by the company.
It takes a lot of the guess work out of timing and ignition testing.
