Radian, Radian Pro, and Multiplex Easy Star are all terrific suggestions; the original poster mentioned he wanted, "a glider type for longer relaxing type flight." The Phase 3 Phoenix II is another nice choice for a RTF 2M wingspan glider. It's also available as an iBind model for folks who already have an Airtronics 2.4Ghz radio system.
I've really been enjoying flying my Thunder Tiger eHawk 1500 glider for the last couple of seasons. Foam planes and I don't seem to get along well, I do far more damage to them simply loading them in and out of my car than I ever get to do to them while flying. I like the built-up covered balsa wing and tail on the eHawk.
