Well yes and no.

With PCM its digital and the frame is either good or no good. If the frame is no good (fails its checksum calculation) it's dropped and ignored, with PPM its passed to the servos with incorrect position information and is seen as a "glitch".

Enough bad frames, then you get a lockout. 1 good frame and you get control back as long as you have valid frames.
