It makes no difference....there is no interfernce proof frequency.....if you take the proper care it should make no difference....however....2.4 with spread sketrum means that you're only on a "channel" for 100ths of a second so if the channel was interefered with you wouldn't know it.....

Matt make sure your six channel Hitec Rx's are updated and put'em in an airplane. These systems are far more resistant to any previous system.
My Hitec Rx count is now just over fifty and I ain,t never lookin back. Since I have totally switched over, something I never intended originally when I got my first has taken something over two and a half years. That two and a half years has been the most glitch free period I have ever experianced since 1957 (the year of my first successful RC flight such as it was).
You have a good system and you are properly powering it now hush up get it installed and enjoy[8D]

And I have just started changing over slowly to my Hitec 2.4 system. When speaking of 72 then PCM is way better then PPM but 2.4 is better then PCM. I have sometime set up my gassers using standard PPC, when I got the plane set up for glitch/RF free operation then I would install a PCM. Flip side of that was sometimes I couldn't get it glitch free so I have given up and gone to PCM and it cured my problems. 2.4 is a lot better but there is no truly perfect system, 2.4 is just as close as we have ever had it.
I am in need of a 9ch Hitec 2.4 RX right now so I will be test flying my new plane with PCM until I can afford the new 9ch. I have never had any problems with PCM but I don't want to be risking getting shot down by someone else with this new plane so I will change over as soon as I can.

Cool Matt, you are welcome and I do hope the hush thing was not taken litteraly. It was tougue in cheek only intended to get you to relax a little and start enjoying the equipment you already have.

Well yes and no.
With PCM its digital and the frame is either good or no good. If the frame is no good (fails its checksum calculation) it's dropped and ignored, with PPM its passed to the servos with incorrect position information and is seen as a "glitch".
Enough bad frames, then you get a lockout. 1 good frame and you get control back as long as you have valid frames.
