Yes you can runemaxx esc; thats what I am using. Just have to take off the heat sinks and add the optional water cooling kit from traxxas. Only difference is that you dont have a mounted on/off switch. Im using stock 23t motors and 447's. I use two 4000mah 35c lipos. Just changed the set up. Here in Nor-Cal been very windy and havent be able to get to the lake yet...
