Default RE: Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40

l have had this plane for 4 years now absolutely LOVE it.
BUT l have an evolution 46 glow in it. l had a fellow club member fly it and he loved it so much he went out and got the xt60 and powered it electric and just loves his setup as well.
the plane is a great all round flyer - no matter which size or power setup it flies fast, it flies slow, it flies upside down - it just does what you ask it to. it is not an aerobatic performer per se but a great all purpose plane. and it looks GREAT to boot. visibility of it is very good under many conditions. it hasnt shown any bad habits.
like any plane of its type spend a few minutes to reinforce the landing gear mount area a hard landing can pop the gear and mount area out from fuselage. (just carefully drop in some balsa or lite ply "braces" and epoxy to anchor the mounting plate)
if anything happened to the plane l would definitely buy another (and probably go electric with it). it has flown 4 full years 1.5 as a primary plane, and then a year as a secondary and is now third string but a favourite fallback plane.
l can put a newbie on it, yet go wild with it as well. it is a fabulous sunday flier type craft.
you will enjoy it l guarantee.
