The show-stopper for me might not actually be anything to do with the TX but more to do with the RX. It seems that the only telemetry capable (SBus2) RX available is the R7008SB. If I am setting up a simple model like a C-ARF Flash with JR servos, it is likely that I will run out of conventional channel sockets. The only option will be to use a Powerbox, 2 RXs or decoders (or restrict myself to SBus Servos). Why would I want to do that? IMO they need to release a RX that has more conventional outputs so I don't need to add extra, unnecessary, components.
But please correct me if I'm wrong, I think in this case you'd be able to use a normal R6014HS Rx by selecting the transmition FASST MULT.
I think the SBUS is not a different transmition protocol but just a different way of transmitting the signal from the RX to the servos.
So there should be no difference between the 18MZ and the 14MZ if run at the FASST MULT setup.
