I've never had a problem with wet lipo or a wet motor, but receiver and esc are a different story. Always tape your hatch up before launching. If you can't find hatch tape or hockey tape vinle electrical tape ain't pretty, but works great. Make sure you tape over the hatch fastener and that the antenna opening is tight. After multiple flips (my driving leaves something to be desired) I have yet to have more than a few drops of water in the boat. Also helps to grease the shaft before every session and then remove the shaft after running, clean and dry it and wrap it in a dry paper towel until the next time.
