Default Sv27 help

I have an older sv27 and as anyone knows the turning is not that good i was wondering what is a better servo that will give me better turns at low speed since there is no reverse n sometimes can get stuck because of that and i want to run lipos so what is a good lipo cut off or alarm to get for this boat?

Servo isn't a factor in slow speed turning.Fact is that my SV27is a bear to turn at slow speed - this boat is designed for speed, and if it turned better at slow speed, it would be totally uncontrolable at full throttle. I use the OSE lipo-protector. Works great and simple to install. Also, OSE gives incredibly quick shipping. Items ordered on Monday will often arrive in US destinations. Same week.

have two turn fins, and turn up your EPA on the steering
the EPA will cause the servo to swing more and turn a little better at slower speeds, but remember that when your at full speed and turn the steering it will flip 180* real fast

I've never had a problem with wet lipo or a wet motor, but receiver and esc are a different story. Always tape your hatch up before launching. If you can't find hatch tape or hockey tape vinle electrical tape ain't pretty, but works great. Make sure you tape over the hatch fastener and that the antenna opening is tight. After multiple flips (my driving leaves something to be desired) I have yet to have more than a few drops of water in the boat. Also helps to grease the shaft before every session and then remove the shaft after running, clean and dry it and wrap it in a dry paper towel until the next time.

Lipos are ok to get wet.. just dry them completely before using them again..
