RE: seagull arf
I've put together 2 Seagull 120 size kits over the last 12 months (Percival Mew Gull and PT 19). As noted above, the manuals assume some ARF experience. Mine went together well and the hardware was generally good. The finish is excellent. The construction is fairly robust and the planes should survive most landing and takeoff incidents structurally intact (eg stall drops on too slow landings, a cartwheel or two if the wing stalls at too slow takeoff etc). The undercarraige assemblies are typically underdone and need stengthening.
