Andy, Unitracts in the UK has available plans by Sepp Uiberlacher for an 83" MkXVI Spit with the teardrop canopy. I have a set of the plans and they are very well done, much like Brian Taylor plans in layout and details. I am considering using them as reference to modify the Taylor airplane into a MkXVI since the wing spans are identical. Unitracts can also supply accessories for the plans including the teardrop canopy.
