RE: Remote engine kill - Switch or Choke
The reason for remote engine kill switches is so that there are no witnesses. It is difficult to prove that someone killed an engine when it appears that no one was around when the engine died. It is also very hard to get your hands around a hot engine while it is running and choke it to death. Besides that, engines are made of steel or alunimum. I don't know of any human who can squeeze aluminum or steel, except for Superman ... and I haven't seen him around for years. Besides that, I think you would have a hard time getting him to choke your engine. He probably has better things to do. So, the best way to stop your engine is to kick it in the prop.
