Default Nitro Newbe Here Need help!

Hi All, I recently flew my new Tower Trainer MKII after about 3 weeks of buildingand and fighting with customer support.i flew it four times all being successful, until i adjusted my high speed needle. of course, i have no idea what im doing since i have flown the super cub lp, andother electric models.my motor died at about fifty feet of the ground damging a prop and my wing. i was running too lean. heres my question

Did i damage the motor? i can flip the prop and it sounds OK. i didnt break the shaft as far as i know. i know running it lean can instantly destroy it as told by my freinds.

What gets damged when it runs too lean?Is it repairable?

do i just need to adjust it right?i could start it with a chicken stick and run it before i crashed.

its a evolution 40 that was included with the p51 mustang from hanger 9. in a crash i lost the pre set for where it was supposed to be. so i have severely messed it up. all i can tell you is that it is pretty close to be screwed in all the way. really i have NOIdea what im doing! i lost the manual in a hobby room cleaning, so im S.O.L. a video or tutorial would be nice.

Sincerly, Sagehillspilot.
