I needed to upgrade one of my kids monster bashers after a few years and I found a newer EMaxx with light usage. The guy also had a fullsize Summit and I needed a new basher MT as well, so I negotiated with him.
I got a lightly used E-Maxx with 2.4GHz radio, a lightly used Summit with 2.4GHz radio and 8 8.4v 3000mAh Traxxas NIMH packs in good shape for $500.
I think I did ok. I basically paid $200 for an RTR EMaxx and $300 for an RTR Summit with 8 free batteries.
It goes without saying that I already have brushless setups for both of them!
The EMaxx is getting a HK 120A ESC + Novak 6.5 motor combo.
The Summit is getting a Mamba Monster + 2000kV 1/8 motor.
