 good to hear your still flying your spit, I only have a cheap white plastic scale like spinner on the front of  mine purchased from same place i purchased the electric retracts.Its not exactly parabolic but similar in shape ,I like it because it weighs virtually  nothing ... I've been flying my old House Of Balsa 46  Extra L which i stripped of paint and completely recovered in profilm ,that made it a virtual new aircraft being a lot lighter and faster. I find i need to fly it as well as the Spit or I mentally become exhausted by just flying the spit . The Extra L can take off and land  as a no brainer ,,just throw the thing into any aerobatic maneuver  you can think of from knife edge to 4 point rolls etc. at half throttle ...Luv it..
