Default RE: RX cooling

I'm still flying 72 MHZ and I do it as much because I always have and to add a layer of insulation from vibration. I know it's not likely that a plug will vibrate loose, but for a little foam, I like the insurance.
Correct, it sure doesn't hurt anything. Most of my planes are still on 72. Some of the RXs {Hitec} come with a foam wrap that velcros closed. I often use these foam wraps and add my own velcro the to the back and attach the RX with that onto a bulkhead. I find it easier to remove the RX that way. Over heating isn't a problem but I have also insulated the RX so much it took forever to remove if I wanted to make a set up change. The 2.4s I have just used velcro or double sided tape to install. The taqpe has a small rubber layer between the glue surfaces. So far no heating or vibration problems.
