And I'm just the opposite. I avoid using two channels unless I absolutely have to. Differential can easily be obtained mechanically by rotating the servo arms
I see no risk in mixing channels. I see it as a great convenience with more precise control.
I have used Y Harnesses for years, before computer radios. I have experienced many problems traced to a Y Harness.
