I know is more of the same BS, but, this coming week I'll be buying a
turbine for a PST Reaction, and wondering between a Jets Muntz VT 80, and
a Kingtech 80???????????????

Any recommendations?????????????

Thanks;

ENT
Neither choice.

Either one will fly the plane and have good reputations for reliability but after 3 weeks of flying you will be bored with only 18-20 lbs of performance. I sold my PST Reaction after well over a hundred flights. Started with a Jet Central Falcon-22lbs thrust-and was in heaven being this was my first turbine. But I soon found it lacking in big loops and tall verticals. Updated to a Jet Central Eagle-30lbs thrust-and now had more than enough performance. I actually turned the Eagle down to 27 lbs and found that suited me just fine. Plus I actually was able to extend my flying time a little bit because i was cruising at part throttle at the same speed most of the flight that I had to stay WFO with the smaller turbine.

If I were to build another composite Reaction my choice would be a Jet Central Cheetah. 31Lbs of thrust. Turn it down to 26-28 lbs and get great performance and better fuel endurance than the smaller turbines would have

take care!
