RE: Undecided
Hi,
I am flying my generation Euro Sport with inlets and bifurcated pipe with a 28 pound AT-280. It takes about 300 feet of runway to take off, but it flies well. My throws might be too mild and my CG might be a little forward.
I fly a K-170 which replaced an AT-280 in my Boomerang XL2, it is a very nice engine and the K-170 really has a lot of thrust.
If the choice is a K-140 or K-170, go with the K-170. I know some guys flying the Euro with an AT-450 engine putting out over 40 pounds of thrust.
Good Luck,
John
