How to remove old monokote?
When I built (or an experienced builder completed) a US40+ a year back, I used monokote available with my LHS. Turned out that the same had soaked in a flood and it started to delaminate even while I was doing it- the clear plastic came off and the pigment and glue stayed behind. We persisted anyway and used a lot of CA to hold it in place. Now, I want to re-cover the thing with some good covering. Its of the same colour as the original but I want to remove the old residue first. What is the best way to remove the old covering where only pigment is left?
