Are you installing Festos or simply sodering brass tubes in (a dicey proposition with some residual fuel inside)? What is the capacity of one can and how long can you run the smoke? Thanks.
Mark,
I first cut one apart to see how it was put together, but basically, I punctured the valve with a drill. I then aeropoxied a brass nipple in place. Same thing for the overflow.
If I remember correctly, it works out to 23oz of smoke fuel. This runs for probably 2 minutes. The last 30 seconds or so are kind of spotty becasue the "clunk" is not heavy enough. The clunk is actually an aluminum pipe that is probably about 6 inches long. Im thinking about putting a real clunk on there and glueing the top of the can back together.
The only festo I have is a one way between the overflow and the engine.
