Never heard of that boat but after a search this is what I found. Is this the correct boat?<div></div><div>
http://www.valuehobby.com/night-hawk-rc-boat.html</div><div></div><div>Assuming it is the correct boat there is a few things I like and some things i dislike. I see it comes with a seaking 120 esc which are amazing esc's and my fav brand of esc (hobbywing). The motor is a cheep FSD motor and the high kv has me veryconcerned being 4122kv that makes this a 2s boat, 3s the unloaded kv would be way to high. I don't like the motor selection at all. I see the hulls part number is "TFL". If that is indeed a TFL hull then the hull itself should perform very well. I have 2 TFL hulls and love them both. The popular Pursuit 32 mono is a TFL hull and they run amazing. I don't like the price at all for that price you have a lot of different options you can get with it especially if shipping is not free. If you pay $9.99 at tower hobbies you can get the membership plan and get free shipping and discount codes which means you could snag a Aquacraft Motley Crew for the same price after you add the $50 off coupon code and you would get free shipping. I think there is better options around that price... JMHO</div><div></div><div>Positive:</div><div>- seaking esc</div><div>- possible TFL hull</div><div>- hardware looks decent</div><div></div><div>Negatives:</div><div>- Price + shipping is high, better boats avail for similar price</div><div>- motor selection is terrible</div><div>- im sure it comes with 4mm 2pc drive as most china boats do</div><div>- would need to open strut up to accept 3/16 stub shafts</div><div></div><div>* In this price range I would personally choose a Proboat Impulse 31 for a mono</div><div>* If not sold on a mono and open to other hulls I would choose a Proboat Mystic, Proboat Miss Geico or Aquacraft Motley Crew. Without a doubt those are the top notch rtr boats on the market right now.</div>
