This Funtana 90 flew 3D back in 2004 and somehow remains a 3D model today with it's YS 1.10.

Obviously TravisP32 is very particular about how his models look since he is spending so much time making a canopy for his Velox II. Like many model builders maybe he wants a model that looks like an airplane and can do 3D as well and is not interested in an ugly flying plank of a profile. One can learn to fly 3D without trashing models over and over again in attempts to fly lower than your skill level allows.
