Phew! Wasn't as much penance to pay on my hinge error as i thought it would be. About 3 hours. Maybe a bit better off hinge wise. Went back with 4 per surface on the tail. With a small one on the tips of the elevators. Outboard of the (old) end hinge. Will do the lower right aileron tomorrow. The rest of the ailerons are fine.

When i glue them back there will be enough clearance if it takes 2 inch packing tape for a gap seal.......speaking of which.......isn't there a 3M tape that is supposed to be good for that purpose? Anyone have any experience there?
