Default RE: Yellow Starfire Build

Hi,

Do you have a pictoral on the Hornet right now?

Sure do, hope Kevin doesn't mind. Here is a couple shots from last night. All the wood work is about done. I'm going to get the fuse ready for the paint shop.
They are going to spray it blue angels for me... and I'm covering all the wood in monokote. Mine is twin EDF so I have done every thing I can do to keep the weight down.

Looks like I will be 39 to 40 pounds ready to fly with twin 12s 7700 mah packs.... running two of Tams new 128mm full size dynamax conversion (all stock rotor and stators)
With a neu motor 1915 1y and a castle ice 160 HV 2 in the tail cones... with the right thrust tube size (100mm) they are giving off 17 lbs thrust per fan at 5800 watts. So I should be very close to 34 pounds thrust installed in the twin.

I'm on a push to get it to the paint shop in the next few weeks....

I have a thread going on the other site ( they like EDF more over there )
