Default RE: Acetone on Monocote?

IF, and with capital letters, if you can clean up the CA witout getting any acetone on the seam line, it will work without damaging the Monokote. I would use a clean rag and make a pad just bigenough to cover the spot, then wet the rag and hold it in place for a few minutes then gently wipe at the CA. It may not come up in one application, but keep gently working at it and it will come up.

The problem is getting the liquid on the seam line, It eats the color/adheasive big time.Early on, I heard to use a Q tip wet with acetone to seal down the edges of trim work. My first attempt was less than OKas I had to much acetone on the Q tip and it ran under a slight pucker in the trim. I reacted by trying to push it out using my finger. Iinstantly pushed out and area of color almost th size of my finger print.

A little is OK, a little more is awful.
