I started with Testors SAC BOMBER TAN. I like the color as a base coat for all things Israeli. I then painted Testor's IDF Grey in a modulation pattern. I weathered with brown and black acrylic washes and ran it around outside.

My M51 represents a near retirement variant with a late style paint job. They served into the 90's.

Hindsight, it should be a little darker.
