The Ezone advice is good. What will the weight of the airframe be, any idea?

If it's in the 12 to 18 ounce range; a geared speed 400 should be sufficient power. A 20 Amp ESC and 7 or 8 cell, 600 AE NiCD battery pack would work fine. Might want to go with Lithium cells for much lighter weight, but higher cost.
