hi there.

my lightning str doesn't shift into 2nd gear anymore, after doing some research and looking at the car itself. it seems that it lost the "set screw" (part #02099). looking at the exploded view on the transmission system, i'm not sure if the #02099 is all i need or if there is a small spring like item that need to go in behind it?
the 2spd clutch itself has the part #02045, if that is important...

when i turn the car upside down and look at the transmission system from the bottom i see the hexhead type screw that holds the clutch itself in place but the "hole" next to it is empty.

will this problem resolve by simply adding a new #02099 adjustment screw back into the hole? if so, i found out that the "deepth" of screw matters on how soon or late the 2nd gear will ingage. any help in the matter is greatly appreciated!
