you may want to consider getting your hands on the Tamiya Duece and a Half model in 1/35 scale. You would be able to measure the parts and convert the measurments to 1/16. Here are some photos of the finished kit I found on the web. It Is Tamiya kit number 35218. Cost maybe 20 to 30 dollars.
