What he said. You can't go wrong with a ball link, but it can be overkill on some models. It's also sometimes questionable whether it is desireable to have adjustment at both ends. That can lead to problems if they're not pre-flighted.

The clevis is less obvious on the horn end - Ido that on my sport models (ball @ the servo end w/soldered clevis at the control horn).
