Here are some tips when running the 1.45 on the ProMix (standard) carb.

1. Use the ES composites pipe, the biggest longest one they make for the 1.40. It has given the best power and the best transition.

2. Keep the engine rich on the top end. It is VERY easy to set it too lean.

3. Run 25% nitro. This will help a lot with the rich midrange the ProMix carb has.

4. Run either a YS or OS 4-stroke plug.

The best solution to the rich midrange is the MC carb, but these tips will help a lot when using the standard carb.
