There's some info on set-up here:

And here. See Lee Davis' set-up. It's the one I use and works well. Transition is as smooth as it gets with a piped two-stroke.

anything I need to know about running this engine??
Large fuel tubing?
What plug?
What fuel?
It seems to run good on the ground but went lean in the air on first flight. In a focus II

I ran mine on 15% fuel synthetic blend, OS F plug and APC 17x10. As far as carb mixture I ran mine at a good solid 2 stroke sound, I did not try to peak the engine out for the highest RPM. The pipe is going to make it run hotter and as far as the low end set the engine up to about 2000 and listen to it. If it loads up quick then lean it a little but keep it as rich as you can but you want it to idel reliable. It should go from idel to full throttle without any problem and if it coughs or sound like it's too rich then lean it a little more. Just remember to use very small movements on the low end needle, it's very touchy. Flying the Focus II arf with this engine should be a breeze for the 1.45. Just be patient and you might burn a tank on the ground getting this thing to run good, but once you figure out the quirks it's strong running engine. If you would like more detailed info than text shoot me a PM and number and we can talk.
