RE: Help me identify a plane I inherited in 1997
I am 99 % sure it's a Taurus. A few were made of fibre glass by skyglass or maybe it was fliteglass. But by that time the Taurus had lost it luster because of the more modern pattern planes. I had several Taurus' back in early 70s. You can tell by the swept vertical stab and the long nose from the wing leading edge to the spinner. The wing was swept, but not as much as the P1.
