RE: SNAP-ROLL ON AIRTRONICS SD-10G
To BJR... Yeah, it doesn't work if you fly a soft elevator. My snap elevator is the same throw as my regular flying.<div>
</div><div>Rodrigo - I'm not sure how much detail you need but I'll start here. Setup TWO flight conditions with your snap rates. (You can also simply use your Triple rates, but you'll need both rate2 and rate3 to be your snap rates, so it's usually easier to use flight conditions)</div><div>
</div><div>Then set up two stick switches... SS1 and SS2. Set SS1 to turn ON at 90% left Aileron. Set SS2 to turn ON at 90% Right Aileron. </div><div>
</div><div> Then set one of your Snap flight condition FC1 to turn on with a normal switch AND SS1. And the other flight condition FC2 to turn on with same same switch AND SS2.</div><div>
</div><div>What you'll end up with is when the switch is off, you'll have normal rates for the entire throw of the stick. When the switch is on, you'll get your snap rates when you aileron stick exceeds 90% in either direction.</div><div>
</div><div>If you need to get into your snap rate quicker, then set the stick switch values to be lower...like 60%. </div><div>
</div><div>Hope this helps.</div><div>
