Okay Everyone

I just finished my 1/3 Scale Balsa USA Sopwith Pup. It has a GT-80 for power and a Mick Reeves dummy radial. The dummy radial weighs 1 lb by itself. After adding 4 lbs nose weight the total weight is 37.4 lbs. Balsa USA states in thier instruction booklet that thiers weighed 29 lbs with a G-62 for power. I am suspect of thier statement. I am curious if anyone else would share how much thier Pup weighs and its power. I will post a picture of mine shortly as it is cloudy today. Thanks All

I've got the GT-80 on mine too, running a 26x8 prop. My Pup weighs in at 40lbs, but I'm carrying a paintball gun & 9oz CO2 tank up near the firewall. The paintball gun is a full size Spyder Pilot & makes for great machine gun sound effects. Needless to say, I didn't add any ballast up front. I think the gun & tank were it! Even at 40lbs it is a floater, tons of wing area & an undercambered air foil. What's not to like?
