E-flite mini ultra stick. It really light on the wing (balsa construction) and can take off in about 6 feet off of concrete and can land in about twice that. Obviously you can open it up and fly big patterns if you want to but it's small enough and maneuverable enough to be fun in a tight space of maybe 3 acres or so. I don't know how well it would handle being landed in tall grass with the balsa construction, but if you have a flat area to set it down in I think you'll like it. I test flew one a while back for a guy and absolutely fell in love with it.
