I took the engine out of my GSS today to check the carb filter screen and the muffler screws. Everything was okay. Should be good for another 50 hours or so.

I did add some foam material, the typethey use between the truck bed and the camper shell, to the inside of the cowl to see if that makes any difference in the noise level. Will check that when I fly tomorrow.
