Isuppose the 'not happy with it' part just doesnt show in the pics above, cause that thing looks great
Im sure you already know, but that pink or blue foam is much heavier than the white stuff. The white foam sheets Iget at Home deport is rated at 0.7 - 2.0 lb per sq foot, where the blue/pink are more around 3-7 lb per sq. foot ranges .. (guessing) .. Being you are using balsa/foam combo to build, Idont understand why you wouldnt want to use the lightest foam avaliable. Not to mention the white stuff is cheaper, if Iremember right. Iunderstand the higher dencity stuff is smoother material as far as cutting and sanding smooth, but if your using balsa's as well, some light filler takes care of any imperfections prior to your balsa caps or sheeting. Even using the standard amber colored gorilla glue works wonderfull on the foam, due to its foaming up as it cures, it will fill in any little foam chunks that may have broke loose from sanding or carving..
