Here you can see where I mounted the two servos, one for throttle and one for choke. On the right side of the engine block is the Ign and the other side is the Ign battery. Never any problems on 2.4
Just for reference the Ign pack is about 4 to 5 inchs away from the servos.

Not only that, your using solid wire pushrods instead of nyrods. A definate no-no 10 years ago.
