RE: Revenger
Hi Dick,
I am well on with the build of the fuselage of the Revenger, but have a couple of questions for you regarding possible minor changes & how they may affect the flying characteristics, as follows:-
As per current trends I will be installing seperate aileron servos in each wing with direct pushrods, this will allow me to split & use the inner1/3rd of the ailerons as flaps, to slow down for landings into our club's relatively small field.
I am installing e-flite electric retracts, the nosegear unit of which I have had to mount horizontally on rails under the tank position. In order to have access for removal of the retract unit I will need to modify the top of the fuselage above the tank area to be removeable. If I do this I will have to set the canpoy further back than as shown on the plan.
Also I will probably use a single elevator push rod to a central link, bent to the angle of anhedral, with the horn centrally silver soldered in place.
Any comments or advice would be welcomed please
