Default Feather for Surface use
I want to use feather receivers in a series of AntWeight battlebot kits I am developing. [Antweights are small fighting robots which weigh 1 pound or less]. The Feather is ideal for this purpose because of the light weight. Transmitters are never farther away than 10 ft so range is no issue.

I have used the Feather in aircraft and am very pleased with it.

Can I buy feathers with surface crystals? Can I swap crystals in an existing set to convert to surface use? What kind of crystals do I need?
