No and no. You should go buy some more thin CA. Correct installation of these types of hinges is dependent on good capillary action. You will not get this with medium CA and definitely epoxy should not be used.

It might be a pain to go get some more thin CA, but I guarantee it will be a lot less painful than picking up the pieces of your plane when the hinges pull out. :-)
