If I had unlimited funds and an empty hull to fill up? Depending on the hull I would use type 2 3:1 gear sets from Asiatam/Mato or Impact TU's. all electronics would be vehicle appropriate Tamiya DMD's and MFU's with Tamiya control motor/gearbox's for Turret traverse, Gun elevation and recoil. if posible Tamiya speaker boxes as well. Expensive but plug and play bullet proof system. I do have one of the SLU's for the Panzer III/StuG that I am going to try. I am hopeful this will be a less expensive alternative to Tamiya gear. Only thing I have heard about the SLU's that is not compatible with Tamiya IR battle system is the number of shots vs. speed.
