Sound quality

Benedini, Beier El Mod. The Benedini card can be used with any RC receiver. THe DBC3 just makes it simple and intergrates everything wiht the IR features as well.

If you are having isses with a DBC try a higher power battery. The DBC does not like a weak ground. 3800 mAh or better is what I recommend. Always start a battle with a freshly charged battery.

There is a new German ESC Tank controller with Battle IR that use the TBS mini for sound. I think I would look at one of those.

THe new EL MOD package looks pretty good too, but I have never been able to master the transition sound files between idling and moving so I always end up with an abrupt change that is noticable to the ear. It is a fully integrated package.

Tamiya may be rock solid, but they just aren't up to the level of the three I mentioned in sound performance, so that is why they would fall off my wish list. I would like to see how well a TBS mini would perform with a Tamiya system. The battle sounds on the Tamiya are fine, if they could be used with the Benedini engine sounds.
