Sounds like your landing on grass, or dirt and hit a small rock. Thats hard to do without big wheels.
Yeah, they do great loops, no problem there, but the alerons don't have much physical travel stock. Under the cowl, there's 2 weights on one side, and one on the other. Remove the top weight on the one side, and see if it doesn't land better, mine sure does. Also, set your throttle trim up a little for an idle, that may help too, unless your short on runway length. I use the throttle cut switch on my Flysky TH9X to start and stop the motor. Works great and looks cool too.
I like about a 5 to 10 mph wind for landing, otherwise we need a long pretty runway eh. lol
