Something is wrong. This is not normal for an RX 18. Have you adjusted the trims on your radio.? That is the first think I would look at.

If you can't resolve the issue with trim adjustments. You may have a gear box problem and there is too much resistance in the gear box for the RX 18 to overcome . Because you mention it happening on mulitple tanks Perhaps one of your radio trims is way off.
