RE: ECOMRC TigerMoth 1/4 Scale
Found screw hole in stab and removed covering. The only drilled hole in the stab braces is at the stab end. Fitted the stab braces.
Had to rebend the fuse side of the braces so they would lay over the blind nut openings in the fuse. I marked the hole locations in the braces'
and marked the overlap, I drilled the braces and cut off the overlap, result a good fit.
Cleared off the cluttered workbench, put the lower wing on put upper wing together and inserted the strut mounting tabs,did not glue.
I then put the cabanes in place, using my best guess, and attempted to mount the upper wing. The expression "busier than a one arm paper hanger"
came to mind . I did get the wing sort of mounted but my best guess was/is not right. Will regroup and try again later.
I did find the flying wire attachment point for the lower wing, about 3" from the LE at the root rib and slightly in. Epoxied all "wing skids" in place.
Off to the flying field.
