Just back from flying with some members of our club and I brought up the Mintor 38 question. One of our members has a friend who belongs to another club who owns a Mintor .38. He said the problem his friend encountered is poor compression and poor performance. The engine could be hand started for the first flight of the day but then required a starter get gat it to run for subsequent flights.
